SV	Gelijk hij, die een [edel]gesteente in een slinger bindt, alzo is hij, die den zot eer geeft.

Trans.	kiṣərwōr ’eḇen bəmarəgēmâ kēn-nwōṯēn liḵəsîl kāḇwōḏ:

AC	ח כצרור אבן במרגמה-- כן-נותן לכסיל כבוד
ASV	As one that bindeth a stone in a sling, So is he that giveth honor to a fool.
BE	Giving honour to a foolish man is like attempting to keep a stone fixed in a cord.
Darby	As a bag of gems in a stoneheap, so is he that giveth honour to a fool.
